Race à l'honneur de l'édition 2024 du CGA, la Normande a ouvert le bal des concours bovins le dimanche 25 février, sur le grand ring du Parc des expositions, porte de Versailles. Elle a laissé ensuite sa place à 17 autres rencontres, avec du côté des races laitières, les concours des races Brune, Prim'Holstein, Rouge Flamande, Simmental, Tarentaise, Abondance, Vosgienne et Montbéliarde.
Charolaise, Aubrac, Salers, Limousine, Blanc Bleu, Bazadaise, Blonde d'Aquitaine, Parthenaise ou encore Rouge des Prés ont représenté les races allaitantes.
